I created this resource page as a list of all the things I love and highly recommend.  You will find a list of products, companies, or services that I personally use.

There may be some affiliate links on this page, but these are things I recommend and use and you might also find them helpful.  I would never recommend anything I don’t already use or haven’t researched.

Books I recommend that have changed my life:

I love the The Circle Maker  by Mark Batterson.   Totally worth your time.  It made  a huge impact on my life after reading it.  Greg, the boys and I had the opportunity to visit Ebenezer’s coffee house in Washington DC when we were there in October 2014 and we got to hear Mark Batterson speak in a church service during that trip also.  Unforgettable church service for me.

One of the other books by Mark Batterson that I love is called In a Pit with a Lion on a Snowy Day.  Again, totally work picking up.  It made me realize that with God on my side, anything is possible.

With having kids, I love Praying Circles around Your Children by Mark Batterson.  What can I say, I love  his books.  This book made me start a journal for each of my kids with prayers that Greg and I pray around them.  We want them to be bold and let them know it is ok to be different.  God will help guide them through their lives so we want them to know early on that He has their backs.  What better way than to show them that we have been praying for them their entire lives.

Finance books I recommend:

The Total Money Makeover by Dave Ramsey.   This book changed our financial lives.  It is probably the book I recommend the most if you need to make some changes in your finances.

The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity by Edwene Gaines.  This one totally makes the list.  I recently read it and I fully believe in the principles of increase mentioned in this book.  If you are looking to get to the next level in business or in your life, this book is a must read.

Real Estate Books I recommend:

This is a great book if you are thinking about real estate investing.  It is one of the first books most investors read because overall it is a great synopsis of real estate.  It’s called the The Millionaire Real Estate Investor by Gary Keller.

Rich Dad Poor Dadby Robert Kiyosaki is a classic book that will change your mindset about your financial future and get you geared towards making passive income.  I love this book.  I read it about 10 years ago and I still think about the principles in the book.

The Book on Investing In Real Estate with No (and Low) Money Downby Brandon Turner is a book about creative ways to finance properties.  You will be amazed by how to get your hands on properties with very little (if any) of your own money

Websites That Help Save Money

Ebates Coupons and Cash Back

Ebates:  When you sign up with Ebates, you have the opportunity to earn money for things you would normally buy online.  For example, if you buy a birthday present for a family member, you go shop on Amazon for a gift.  If you shop through Ebates and buy the same thing on Amazon, you get CASH BACK through shopping through Ebates website.   Ebates makes money for referring you to the store and they share some of that commission with you.  It is awesome!  You can sign up through my link to get started.

Ibotta:  I LOVE Ibotta because it is a free coupon site that literally takes seconds to get your money back. It is amazing and I sing the praises of Ibotta constantly.  You can download the Ibotta App on your phone, look through the available coupons, click on the ones you will be using and scan your receipt and items you purchase after you buy them.  Money is directly downloaded to PayPal (which you can then transfer to your bank account).  Friend, it is amazing.  You can get started for free by clicking my link

Ways to Make More Money:

There are tons of online survey companies available to make extra money.  If you are looking to make $50-$100 extra per month, this is a good way to do it.  The survey companies I recommend are:

Swagbucks– With Swagbucks, you get paid to do things on the internet that you are probably already doing such as online shopping, watching videos online, and searching the web.  They also offer surveys for you to take to get Swagbucks.  For this particular site, you get paid through gift cards to your favorite stores.  You can learn more about Swagbucks by clicking on my link.

Harris Poll– Harris Poll is an online survey company that will pay you money to take their surveys.  They deliver new surveys to your email box whenever they are available.  For me, it is about daily. Keep in mind that with survey companies, you won’t make a full time income, but you could easily make $50- $100 per month if you wanted to spend  a little time each day taking the survey.  All you need is about 15 minutes to take a survey and you could earn some cash!  You can sign up for Harris Poll by using my link.

RewardTV– This is another Neilsen owned company.  You basically get paid to watch shows and play online video games when you join Reward TV.  If you love to watch shoes and play games online, this would be for you

American Consumer Opinion– This is a fun survey site where you can test new products or give feedback regarding advertising.  The average survey takes just 10 minutes and you start earning cash.  You can learn more about American Consumer Opinion by clicking my link

National Consumer Panel–  This survey company is shaping how products are made.  With this company, you get to share your opinion.  Each time you make a purchase you would be making anyway, you have the opportunity to write a small review.  All you have to do is download and app, scan the item and write a review.  If you don’t have a phone like an iPhone or Galaxy, no problem, the company will provide you with a scanner.  They pay you for your opinion so that products can be made better!  You can learn more about National Consumer Panel here

Survey Junkie–  This is another site where you get paid for your opinion.  It is very user friendly and very straight forward to use.  Like the other sites, you get points just for completing your basic profile.  It is very easy to sign up and you could start earning some extra money very easily.   You can sign up for Survey Junkie by clicking on my link

Meal Plan Services I recommend:

Try $5 Meal Plan Today!
$5 Meal Plan:  This website puts together a meal plan for you and the cost is only $5/month.  I recently signed up for it and as a bonus for being a member, you get a free download of the top 10 recipes as they did a survey with their members of which recipes they liked best.  You also get to try it out before you buy.  You get two weeks of recipes for free along with the shopping list needed for the meals.   I will say that some of the meals we have had to substitute the dairy out due to Logan’s allergy, but overall I love the convenience!  You can learn more about it here.

MyFreeze Easy:  I have used both the $5 Meal Plan and MyFreezeEasy and honestly, I love them both, but MyFreeze Easy is a bit more expensive.  If you like freezer cooking and using your crock pot, MyFreeze Easy is the meal plan service that would be better for you.  You also can customize the meal plans which is really great.  If you like clean eating, you have the option to dowload only the clean eating recipes.  If you would like to check out MyFreezeEasy, click this link
